Lunch on the terraceSpring has definitely sprung here in Lyon and last weekend we were able to take advantage of the warm sun with the first lunch on our terrace. After what seemed like a long winter, it was nice to be outside without layers of clothing on. Baptiste prepared a typical light French lunch with fresh cheeses, marinated tomatoes, saucisson and bread from the neighborhood market. We (err, Baptiste) also planted a few new additions to our garden including a rose bush and a flowering plant that will attract butterflies. Now we just have to wait until summer to see if he has a green thumb or not!

    Currently in Lyon and I felt so out-of-place with my boots and winter jacket from Paris. 🙂
